Kokeshi Works is a collection of happy things developed over hours of folding, gluing, and cutting paper bits to make little structures and amusements.  Also included are a few non-paper collaborative items depending on the creative moods or interests of the contributors.

All of the pieces here were initially made for entertainment and social interaction. During the unstructured process of building amusement and camaraderie a need for an online presence became apparent, thus the birth of this site. Established loosely in the early 2000’s by founder and friends, Kokeshi Works continues to play with making happy things.  Feel free to browse, smile, and comment.

It’s not world peace, but a little bit of happy for you to share with friends, family, strangers, or yourself.  Just some happy things made for fun…
